All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Jewell Dee Copes - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 17, 1999 Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Dee Copes, 71, were held Nov. 14 at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Fred Fulton officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Copes died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999 in the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Epps, La., and was retired from the nursing profession. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include her husband: Wilson C. Copes, Tallulah; two sons: W.E. "Sonny" Copes and wife Peggy, Tallulah; one brother: W. L. Payne and wife Billie, Monticello, La.; one sister: Eula Moore and husband James, Ferriday, La.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Lynn Payne, Freddie Payne, Tim Payne, Dan Copes, Mike Bowers and Donnie Moore.
