All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Talmadge Ray Coody - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 18, 1999 Funeral services for Mr. Talmadge Ray Coody, 62, were held Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Tarver officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Coody died Friday in the Madison Parish Hospital following a sudden illness. He was a retired welder and was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Ann Coody. Tallulah: one son: Christopher Ray Coody, Rison, Ark.: two daughters: Shirley Adams, DeWitt. Ark., and Shiela Fletcher, St. Petersburg, Fla.: four grandchildren: three sisters: June Clark, Culver, Calif., Elsie Felker, Vicksburg and Linda Novotny, Russell, Kan. Pallbearers were members of American Legion Post #100 Scott-Nicols-Volk.
