All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Dottie Moice Collins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star December 4, 1959 TALLULAH (Special) — Services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Dottie Moice Collins, 74, of Transylvania, who died Thursday in a Delhi Clinic after a brief illness. She was a native of LaSalle Parish and had lived in this area for a number of years. The services were at 2 p.m. at the Transylvania Baptist Church. Interment was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Tallulah. Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. R. B. Carter, Tallulah; Mrs. C. C. Watson, Ferriday; Mrs. Elton Fortenberry, Transylvania; three sons, Virgil Collins, Wilburn Collins, both of Tallulah; Ray Collins, Transylvania; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Cruse, Mrs. Bertha Claunch, both of Kelly; Mrs. Angie Brown, Columbia; one brother, Hardy Harris, Olla; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buyrne Walker, Homer Stephens, George Hopkins, Tobe Hopkins, Ray Fortenberry, Benton Fortenberry, A. L. Harvey and Gus Couch.
