All rights reserved. ************************************************ Bessie Lee Collins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, October 25, 2004 TALLULAH — Bessie Lee Collins died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. She was 81. Born in Forest, Mrs. Collins had been a longtime resident of Madison Parish. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Collins; and three brothers, Ray Florence, Gaines Florence and Edwin Florence. Survivors include four sons, Gerald Collins, Truman Collins and Donald Collins, all of Tallulah, and Steve Collins of Bastrop, La.; three sisters, Odie Mae Reynolds of Tallulah, Betty Sue Whitley of Texarkana, Ark., and Grace Riley of Deer Park, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were John Collins, Curt Collins, Tracy Collins, Randy Collins, Dave Collins, Kevin Collins, Danny Collins, Greg Collins, Ken Reeves and Preston Walker.
