Colligan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 18, 1975 Funeral services for Vores J. Colligan, 92, 1524 Glen Oaks St., Shreveport, were held Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. and the Rev. David Elliott officiating. Burial followed in Holy (Silver) Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Colligan died at 10 a.m. Monday in Shreveport after a short illness. Mr. Colligan moved to Shreveport from Tallulah following his retirement from Continental Trailways in 1971. He is survived by three sons, J. P. Colligan of Belle Chase, V. J. Colligan of Port Sulphur and W. T. Colligan of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrende Breaux of Rayne, Mrs. D. A. Elliott of Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. Rosemary Myrick of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Home for the Aged, 1524 Glen Oaks St., Shreveport.
