All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Carrie Colligan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star April 10, 1972 Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Colligan, 74, of 601 Rochelle Ave., Monroe, were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Monroe. Officiating was Dr. James T. Horton. Burial was to follow at 2 p.m. in Silver Cross Cemetery of Tallulah. A member of the Baptist Church, Mrs. Colligan had been a Monroe resident since 1942. Survivors include her husband, V. J. Colligan of Monroe; three sons, Pat Colligan, V. J. Colligan Jr., both of Port Sulphur, and William T. Colligan of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Breaux of Rayne, Mrs. D. A. Elliot of Meridian, Miss. and Mrs. Lawson Myrick of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
