Cogdell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, February 12, 2013 MONROE, La. — Bernice R. Cogdell died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at The Oaks Nursing Home in Monroe. She was 86. Mrs. Cogdell was born in Delhi. She had lived in Tallulah and worked as a beautician and a cosmetologist before living in Monroe for 14 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a brother, Shelby Ray Cogdell of Pampa, Texas; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Butch Pilcher officiating. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
