C. Clark Dies Suddenly At Home Mrs. Charles Clifton Clark, the former Miss Lula Farr, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Yerger at Mound, on Wednesday morning, October 25, 1967. Mrs. Clark who has had a heart condition, seemed quite well and had just finished breakfast with the family when the attack occurred. She was born in Bolton, Miss. in 1883, and had made her home in Madison Parish since 1908. Mr. Clark preceded her in death many years ago. She was known to friends of long and short acquaintance for her courteous manner and her ready wit. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Andrew L. Yerger of Mound, her sons, William Emmett Clark and Joe Milton Clark of Tallulah, and Charles Clifton Clark, Jr. of Marshall, Texas. Her grandchildren are: Mrs. James Federick, Miss Rita Clark, Miss Lisa Clark and Craig Clark; Bill Clark, Jr., Lynn Clark and Nell Clark, all of Tallulah and Mrs. Gylnne A. Simpson, Jackson, Miss. and Charles Clifton Clark III of Marshall, Texas. Three brothers survive Mrs. Clark, Mr. Robert Farr, of Tallulah, Mr. Joe N. Farr of Bolton, Miss. and Mr. Robert Farr of Jackson, Miss. and a number of nieces and nephews; Also two great grandchildren, Margaret Elise Federick .and Andrew Yerger Federick. Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church, Tallulah, on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock with the Rev. Linden H. Brown, assisted by the Rev. Joseph Harrison, officiating. Pallbearers were E. C. Woodyear, Louis Tonore, Edward M. Yerger, William Yerger, Nolan Dickson, Maxwell Yerger, Rufus Yerger, and Dr. Lawrence Clark, Jr. of Vicksburg, Miss.
