Clark - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 15, 1944 Cliff C. Clark Prominent Planter Dies December 7 Funeral services for Cliff C. Clark, prominent planter here and a member of the Madison Parish police jury, who died at his at Mound Thursday night, Dec. 7, were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Andrew L. Yerger, Friday afternoon, December 8. The Rev. H. N. Alexander of Opelousas and former pastor of the Presbyterian church here officiated and burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Clark was born at Brandon, Miss., May 19, 1878, and has resided in Madison Parish since 1913. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula F. Clark; a daughter, Mrs. Yerger of Mound, and three sons: Will E. Clark of Farmerville, Lt. (J. G.) Cliff C. Clark, Jr., of the Navy, serving in the South Pacific, and Captain Joe M. Clark, who is overseas in the air corps; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Foreman of Pelahatchie, Miss., and Mrs. R. L. Ellis of Kingsville, Tex., and a brother, J. B. Clark of Odom, Tex.
