Jim McCool officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery. Lissa was born August 29, 1958 in Delhi, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee Sykes and her brother, Rickey Sykes. Survivors include her husband, JD Cherene, her sons, Nolan Mahoney (Ginger) and Erick Cherene (Suzy), her mother, Dorothy Mae Williams Goldsmith from Vicksburg, Mississippi, her grandchildren, Hunter and Hayes Mahoney, and Hunter, Ericka, and Brennan Cherene, her brother, Stevie Sykes (Rhonda) from Tallulah, her sister, Tina Goldsmith (Russ) from Florida, many nieces and nephews, and her three beloved pets, Pebbles, Bit Bit, and Oreo. Pallbearers are Aron Wallace, Hunter Mahoney, Patrick Cobb, Hayes Mahoney, Aubrey Worthington, and Andy Vining. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Powers, Ricky Isabell, Toby Wilkins, and Alex Saldana.
