John Rushing and the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Channel died May 2, at his home in Tallulah. He was 24. He was born in Vicksburg and had lived in Madison Parish most of his life. He was a draftsman and member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. He is survived by his mother Viola D. Pritchett of Tallulah; his father, Kenneth W. Channell Sr. of Vicksburg; his stepfather; John H. Pritchett of Tallulah; his grandmother, Sina Ruth Channell of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers were Sheriff Paul Barrett, Jeff Crevitt, Dan Hall Jr., Paul Meeks, John Windham and Ed Rushing. Honorary pallbearers were the Warren County Sheriffs Department, Madison-Richland Gideon Camp and C. R. Herman Jr.
