All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Leroy Chambless - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 14, 1990 Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Chambless, 75, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Duewayne Tullos and Rev William Patton officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Chambless died Saturday at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson. He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Tallulah for the past 56 years. He was a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways and a member and deacon of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen E. Chambless of Tallulah; five daughters, Glenda Kelly of Vicksburg, Leona Clifton of Pensacola, Fla., Frances Chambless of Tallulah, Sandra Wilson of Bastrop and Artiv Anderson of West Monroe; one son, Steve Rundell of Tallulah; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wade Williamson, Buford White, Harold Bolton, Alfred Holmes, Shelby Holmes and Willard Green.
