Joseph Cason Laid To Rest Tuesday Afternoon

Joseph Payton Cason, 69, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Erwin, Monday after a long illness. 
He had resided in Madison Parish for seven years, coming here from Waterproof, and was a member of the 
Masonic Lodge. 

The Funeral was held Tuesday at 2:00 at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Williams officiating, 
Burial in the Silver Cross Cemetery followed under direction of Crothers Funeral

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. xxxx Cason; three sons, Garland, Floyd, of Natchez, Miss.;  J. P., Waterproof; 
one daughter, Mrs. Roy Erwin of Tallulah; six grandchildren; four brothers, William of  St. Francisville; Curry, 
of New XXXX, La.; Clifton and Earl of xxxx La.; and a half-sister of Baytown Texas.
