All rights reserved. ************************************************ Erma Lee "Jo" Carrender - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post September 24, 2001 TALLULAH - Erma Lee "Jo" Carrender died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 70. Mrs. Carrender was born in Madison Parish and was a veteran of the Air Force. She was a nurse and secretary for Civil Service. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Mrs. Carrender was preceded in death by a brother, James E. "Sonny" Jobe; and a sister, Melba Jean Jobe. She is survived by a daughter, Jimmie Lee Folk of Tifton, Ga.; three brothers, Ray Jobe, Tommy Jobe and Robert "Rabbit" Jobe, all of Tallulah; five sisters, Katheleen Marshall, Jimmie Wilhite and Nellie Simmons, all of Tallulah, and Marie Castle and Linda Vines, both of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Services for Mrs. Carrender will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Toney, Mike Moore, Jerry Lee Standfield, Joe Jobe, Bernie Jobe and Harold "Sonny" Bolton.
