Capshaw - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 19, 1985 Mrs. Sallie W. Capshaw, 88, died Saturday at a Rayville hospital after a long illness. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Capshaw was a native of Rayville and has been a resident of Tallulah for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Col. Ben D. Capshaw of Leavenworth, Kan.: two daughters, Mrs. James D. Sevier of Tallulah and Mrs. George R. Sumlin of Delhi; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Ben Capshaw, Clint Capshaw, David Marchman Jr., Jim Sevier Jr., Kevin Sumlin, Terry Bowles and George Sumlin Jr.
