All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Clayton Calhoun - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 16, 1962 Service For Former Resident Held Here On Monday Funeral services for Clayton Calhoun, 58, retired service station operator, who died Sunday morning in Monroe after a lengthy illness were held here Monday afternoon. Services were held at 2 p. m. at the McGuire Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Wineinger officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Calhoun was a native of Vaiden, Miss., and lived in Tallulah before moving to West Monroe 12 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Calhoun is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Calhoun, 1109 Audubon, West Monroe; a daughter, Miss Patricia Calhoun, and one son Howard Calhoun both of West Monroe, and one sister, Mrs. Velma Sandberg, Miami, Fla.
