All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Joseph Clyde Cagle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star June 15, 1971 TALLULAH — Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here for Joseph Clyde Cagle, 69, of Jonesville, formerly of Tallulah. Merlin Merreill was to officiate, with burial in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Cagle died Monday at a Shreveport hospital after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Grice Cagle of Jonesville; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Wilson of Minden and Mrs. J. C. Smith Sr. of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.
