Byson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe Morning News October 26, 1957 TALLULAH — (Special) — Kenney E. Byson, 80, died in a Monroe hospital Thursday, after a long period of poor health. Mr. Byson was a native of Pennsylvania, and moved to Madison parish from Minnesota in 1930. He had been a farmer until a few years ago, when ill health forced his retirement. A member of the Lutheran church, he also belonged to the Woodmen of the World. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Tallulah Methodist church, with the Rev. William F. Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross cemetery, under direction of Crothers Funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josephine Byson, Tallulah; two brothers, John P. Byson, San Diego, Calif., and Tony Byson, Iowa; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cliff Erwin, Leslie Erwin, Walter Butler, C. N. Colvin, A. L. Dahlhaufer, and A. M. Stewart.
