John C. Byram - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Memorial services for John C. Byram, 67, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Tallulah First Baptist Church with Revs. Crawford Williams and John Rushing officiating.

          .

Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah.

 

Mr. Byram died Saturday in Marshall, Texas after injuries received in an auto-pedestrian accident.

 

He was a lifelong resident of Madison Parish, a retired farmer, a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church, and was involved in many activities in Madison Parish.

 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Billie T. Byram of Tallulah; one son J. Byram of Tallulah; three daughters, Terry Lowry of Alexandria, Janet Newsom of Marshall, Texas, and Shela Dawson of Longview, Texas; two brothers, Gaines Byram of Tallulah and Dr. George Byram of Haynesville; three sisters, Olga Mae Horn of Tallulah, Marguerite Whitehead of Shreveport and Betty Lipari of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.
