All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Joan Elizabeth Busby - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 21, 1994 Services for Joan Elizabeth Busby were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Carl Barnes and the Rev. Ebie Magee officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Tallulah. Mrs. Busby died Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson. She was 52. She was a native of Tallulah, a homemaker and a taxidermist. She was a member of Mound Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Thurmon L. Busby of Tallulah; two sons, Greg Busby and John Busby, both of Tallulah; four grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Hodge of Tallulah; four sisters, Dorothy Ann Hodge and Gloria Busby, both of Tallulah, Louise Acuff and Janice Bassett, both of Vicksburg; and three brothers, Charles H. Hodge Jr. of Houston, Texas, Ronald T. Hodge of Port Gibson, Miss., and Donald R. Hodge of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Ray Case, Marvin Worley, Bill Ramshaur, Ray Goings, Lester Norton and Monte Busby.
