All rights reserved. ************************************************ Howard Erwin Busby - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, July 25, 2012 TALLULAH — Howard Erwin Busby died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 93. Mr. Busby was born in Leesville, La., and had lived in Madison Parish most of his life. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. He was a retired farmer and member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Montie Busby and Ted Busby, both of Tallulah, Danny Busby of Bossier City, La.; two daughters, Joann Mathis of Shreveport, La., and Karen Dorbeck of Tallulah; two brothers, Derwood Busby of Delhi and Thurman Busby of Tallulah; one sister, Lovie Norton of Slidell, La.; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Clifton Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Thursday until the service. Pallbearers will be Ed Trichell, John Busby, Carl Busby, Ricky Busby, Ryman Busby and Heath Busby.
