All rights reserved. ************************************************ James Clarence "Trip" Burris III - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 3, 2001 TALLULAH - James Clarence "Trip" Burris III died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at his home in Monroe, La. He was 26. Mr. Burris was born in Florida and had lived in Louisiana most of his life. He was a graduate of Tallulah High School and was a student at the University of Louisiana in Monroe. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Burris Jr. Survivors include his mother, Dora Taylor Burris of Tallulah; a brother, Brian Keith Burris of Monroe; and his grandmother, Dorothy Burris of Tallulah. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be Hunter Baker, Lance Morgan, Drew Evans, Alex Evans, Tim Sergeant and Joey Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Lupe Hernandez, Louis Morgan and Nick Williamson.
