All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Dawn McCoy Burns - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 26, 1992 Funeral services for Mrs. Dawn McCoy Burns, 22, were held at 4 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Gaston and Rev. Duewayne Tullos officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Burns died Thursday at North Monroe Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Vicksburg and had lived most of her life in Tallulah. She was a hairstylist and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Eva Bedgood McCoy of Tallulah; her father, James C. McCoy of Tallulah; one brother, Carl Allen McCoy of Tallulah; her grandmother, Bertha Bedgood of Tallulah and two nephews, Allen McCoy and Joshua McCoy, both of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Paul Henson Jr., Gary Henson, Kenneth McCoy, Kenneth Goins, Mike Bedgood and Gary Douthit.
