Bullard - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 9, 1956 Father Of Local Residents Dies In Jackson, Wednesday Funeral services for Dolar P. Bullard, 61, who died Wednesday in a Jackson, Miss., hospital, will be held today (Friday) at 2 p. m. at the Montrose Baptist Church with the Rev. J. A. Bryant officiating. Interment under the direction of Young's Funeral Home will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery. The American Legion will conduct graveside services. Bullard was a native of Darnell, Ark., but had lived near Tallulah for the past 26 years. He was a member of the Montrose Baptist Church, the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Capt. Winfred B. Bullard of Fort Lee, Va., Bobby J. Bullard of Delhi, Onward and Henry Sam Bullard both of Tallulah, and Dolar Lamar Bullard of Scott Field, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Audry Lee Melton and Miss Virginia Mae Bullard, both of Tallulah; one brother, Britt Bullard of Darnell, Ark., two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sexton of Centerville, Ark., and Mrs. Dolar Coffa of California, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Hopkins, Felix Hopkins, Charlie Hopkins, Billy Ray Arender, Jeff Wilson and Herman Wilson.
