All rights reserved. ************************************************ Thelma Lipscomb Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, July 16, 2006 TALLULAH - Thelma Lipscomb Bryant died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at her home. She was 65. Mrs. Bryant was born in Waverly, La., and lived in Madison Parish most of her life. She was a retired school bus driver for Madison Parish Schools and a member of Warsaw Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Evron E. Bryant of Tallulah; her mother, Laverne Carter of Point, La.; two daughters Annette Bryant and Connie L. Bryant, both of Tallulah; a son, Bruce W. Bryant of Winnsboro; three sisters, Judy McClain of South Carolina, Lou Ella Taylor of Point and Olla Belle Watson of Tallulah; two brothers, Edward Carter of Eros, La., and Ronald Carter of West Monroe; four grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Fontenot officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gene Lord, Eric Lord, Brandon Bryant, John Roberson, Isaac Lipscomb, Danny Ray Watson and Shane Carter.
