Mary Hill Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana

TALLULAH - Mary Hill Bryant died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Richland Parish Hospital in 
Delhi. She was 74.

Born in Ida, La., Mrs. Bryant was a longtime resident of Madison Parish before 
moving to Delhi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Bryant; and a daughter, Vera 
Nell Crane Matthews.

She is survived by her son, Terry L. Bryant of Newport News, Va.; her brother, 
Andrew Hill of Longbranch, N.J.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 
and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the 
Rev. Marcus Murphy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood 
Funeral Home. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30. Visitation will be from 
5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Albert Matthews, Albert Henry Matthews, Randy James Matthews, 
Freddie Geddis, Alejandro Saldana and Alex Saldana.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Matthews and Joey Matthews.
