All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Earl “Poodle” Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, April 23, 2007 TALLULAH - Services for Earl “Poodle” Bryant were at 11 this morning, April 23, 2007, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Bryant died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at her home in Tallulah. She was 88. Born in Dunn, La., Mrs. Bryant retired as a second-grade teacher from Tallulah Elementary School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Bryant; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Pott; and two sisters, Mildred Holland and Lorraine Walter. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Bryant; three sisters, Jiggs McDuff, Dacky Tucker and Ruth Ester; a granddaughter; and other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dalton Fortenberry, Ed Mills, Tommy Bishop, Jim Tucker, Robert Kivett, Ken Elledge, J.W. Mercer \ and Ted Osborne. Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church in Tallulah
