Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 14, 1982 Services for William F. Brown were at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Brown died Sunday in the Delta Haven Nursing Home after an illness. He was a native of Arkansas and a resident of Tallulah for 53 years. He was a retired farmer, a member of Tallulah Masonic Lodge no. 308, a member of the Woodmen of the World and a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Belvin B. Brown of Phoenix, Ariz., Charles M. Brown of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Jewel Brown King of Tallulah; a stepson, Jack Wise of Texarkana, Texas; stepdaughter, Mrs. Lillian Craton of Minden; brother, Worley Odell Brown of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; and 20-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harry Barrett, Charles Arneson, Gene Cox, John Earl Martin, Bob Gaumnitz and J.C. Byram.
