All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Horace Clark Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 23, 1975 Funeral services for Horace Clark Brown of Tallulah were held last -----day at the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Rev. ---- ------ officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers. Mr. Brown died Wednesday morning in Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Illinois and lived in Tallulah for 44 years. He was a grocer and a member of the Methodist Church. He worked for the A & P Store in Tallulah for many years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Brown of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Lucille Boyles of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Queenie Brown, Mrs. Doris Brown and Mrs. Jessie Campbell, all of Little Rock, Ark., seven grand-children and one great-grandson. Pallbearers were H. C. Sevier, Jr., John O'Shea, Leander Grace, Doug Curtis, Phillip Crothers, Ronnie Jones and Hank Boyles.
