All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Frances Lupo Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 3, 2000 Mrs. Frances Lupo Brown died in Raleigh, NC on May 3, 2000. A service to celebrate her life was held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2000, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Raleigh. Graveside services and interment will be Friday, May 5. 2000, at 2:00 p.m., in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. with the Reverend Bobby Brown, nephew, officiating. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Otha Draton Lupo and Julia McManus of Copiah County in Mississippi. She attended Copiah Lincoln Wesson. Miss., and graduated from MSCW in Columbus, Miss. She was employed as a dietitian while in Miss. Tallulah was her home after marriage, and she taught for a number of years in the Madison Parish School system. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, President of the Tallulah Book Club, a former member of the Tallulah Home Gardeners, of the Music Club, and a 50 year member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth B. Frazier and husband Bill, of Raleigh; a daughter, Janet Brown of Monroe; and a daughter Judith B. Gilbreath and husband George of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Bo Wyatt, of Monroe; Frances and Patrick Kenney and Keith and Shannon Frazier of Raleigh; and two great grandchildren, Tanner Wyatt and Elizabeth Sue Kenney. She is survived by a number of sisters and brothers; nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Mississippi University for Women Foundation (formerly MSCW) to the Frances Lupo Brown Education Scholarship Fund; W Box 1618 Columbus, Miss., 39701 or to the charity of your choice. The Cremation Society of the Carolinas and Carothers-Glenwood Funeral Home are serving the family of Mrs. Brown.
