All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Dorothy Reed Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 1, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Reed Brown of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Tallulah, were held Wednesday in Trinity Episcopal Church here with the Rev. Nolan Pipes officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery here under the direction Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Brown died Friday in a nursing home after a long illness. Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Jim Reed Jr. and Pete Reed; a daughter, Mrs. Toni Williams; and a stepson, Charles Clayton Brown of Vicksburg, Miss. Pallbearers were Jim Griswold, Albert Paxton, Stuart Moberly, Wesley Reardon and Warren Patrick.
