All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Clifford Wayne Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 1, 1995 Services for Clifford Wayne Brown were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing and the Rev. Lillard Bevel officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home. Mr. Brown died Monday, Oct. 23, 1995, at the Vicksburg Medical Center. He was 66. He was born in Ida, La., and had lived in Tallulah since 1937. He was a veteran of the Air Force and was manager of Walnut Bayou Water Association. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bethea Brown of Tallulah; one son, William Merrick Brown of Tallulah; two daughters, Janet Sayne Smith of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Debra Carney of Tallulah; five grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin D. Brown and Clarence B. Brown, both of Farmerville, La.; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Thompson of Gilbert, La. Pallbearers were Stanley Harmon, John Reece, Horace Russell, Elra Townsend, Eddie Hargrave and Billy Hodge. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Joe Lee and Armon Cox.
