BROOKS IN TALLULAH TODAY Funeral services for Mrs. Georgette Yerger Brooks, prominent Tallulah resident, who died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon will be held in Tallulah today at 3 p. m. Services will be held at the W. D. Ziegler home with the Rev. D. W. Poole, pastor of the Methodist church, and the Rev. George A. A. Tocher, pastor of the Episcopal church, officiating. Mrs. Brooks was 87 years of age. She was born in Memphis, April 12, 1852, and had been living in Madison parish for many years. She was the daughter of Dr. John K. Yerger of Vicksburg, and resided in this city for some time. She was married at Christ Episcopal Church in Vicksburg to Aaron 0. Brooks of Bovina and at one time resided at the Brookfield plantation. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. D. Ziegler and Miss Erexine Brooks, both of Tallulah; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
