All rights reserved. ************************************************ George Claten Britton - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Yakima (WA) Herald-Republic November 19, 2006 YAKIMA - George Claten Britton, 78, of Yakima died Friday, November 10, 2006 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. George was born January 25, 1928 in Tallulah, LA to Joe Britton and Ollie Cooper. George worked 15-20 years for Boise Cascade before retiring. He lived in Sacramento, California before moving back to Yakima where he has lived most of his life. He enjoyed people and visiting with friends. Survivors include a sister, Florence Britton of California and a caregiver, Lynda Malone of Yakima. He was preceded in death by his parents. Viewing will be Sunday, 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. and Monday, noon until 8:00 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 12 noon at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tahoma Cemetery. Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
