The Rev. R. A. Givens of Eagle Lake Methodist Church, conducted the services and burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Brier. who had lived at Australia Island the last four years, formerly lived in this vicinity. She was a member of the Baptist, Church. Surviving are her husband, W. C. Brier of Australia Island, and a niece, Miss Mattie Weaver of Dallas, Texas.
