All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Marion Bray - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 6, 1975 William Marion Bray, 60, 2208 Ann St. Monroe, died early Tuesday morning in West Monroe Glenwood Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Thomastown and lived Monroe for the past 20 years. He was a member of the St. Alban Episcopal Church and a veteran of World War II where he served with the Air Force in the Guadalcanal area. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Alban Episcopal Church in Monroe with the Rev. Steve Holshalb officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Smith Bray of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Lane Ray of Lafayette; one son, Bob Bray of Lafayette; his mother, Natalie Thomas Bray of Tallulah; two brothers, Shields Bray of Tallulah and N. T. Bray of Clinton, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
