All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nora Parker Bradley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 20, 1979 Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Parker Bradley were held Sunday in the Sondheimer Baptist Church with the Revs. Howard Clark and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Mrs. Bradley died Saturday in Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. She was a member of the Sondheimer Baptist Church. She was a native of Newton County, Miss., and resided in Sondheimer for many years. Mrs. Bradley was a past president of the Crepe Myrtle Home Demonstration Club, East Carroll Home Demonstration Club and the president of the Xxxxx's Missionary Society and Sunday School teacher for forty years in the First Baptist Church of Sondheimer. On Labor Day Weekend she celebrated her 87th birthday at Roberson's retreat on Bear Lake. In attendance were 101 relatives and friends with 57 being direct descendants. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Bradley of Sondheimer and Luther Bradley of Orange, Texas; five daughters, Irene Barrilleaux and Virginia Myers, both of Port Arthur, Texas, Hazel Roberson of Tallulah, Louise Nacol of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Laverne Bradley of Sondheimer; a sister, Carlene Fore of Grayson; four brothers, E. V. Parker of Pea Ridge, Ark., M. L. Parker of Pass Christian, Miss.; 25 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Paul Marsh, Howard Wise, E. H. White, Bud Dennis, Wallace Oliver and Johnny Stuart.
