Bowles Held On Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Eugenia Mashburn Bowles, 78, who died in a Vicksburg hospital Sunday night were held Tuesday at 10 a. m. Services were conducted in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Shepperson officiating. Burial followed in the Lake Providence Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Bowles was the wife of the late J. F. Bowles. Mrs. Bowles was a native of Rankin County, Miss., but had been a resident of Louisiana for 60 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, James A. Bowles, Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. E. E. Carter, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Charles S. Blackledge, Montgomery, Ala., and Miss Susan Bowles, Shreveport; six grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Frank Olvey, A. L. Gordy, Harry Barrett, Gene Parker, Anthony Scurria and Billy DeMoss.
