All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ross Earl Bowen Madison Parish, LA From Jackson Clarion-Ledger November 1, 1972 Funeral services for Ross Earl Bowen, 73, of 533 Lowder Drive will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Wright & Ferguson Chapel with the Rev. Robert H. Perry officiating. Interment will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, La. Mr. Bowen died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at Baptist Hospital after suffering an apparent stroke in Clinton Monday morning. A native of Scottsboro, Ala., he had been a resident of Jackson for the past three years. He was a former resident of Arkansas and Louisiana prior to originally moving to Jackson in 1942. After several years here, he lived for 16 years in Colorado. He was a retired merchant. He was a member of Hanging Moss Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frankie Cross Bowen; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Flynn of Grand Junction, Colorado; four sons, Gullick Bowen, Aaron Bowen, both of Jackson, Levelle Bowen of Clinton, and Archie Bowen of Tupelo; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Myraloue Hunt of El Dorado, Ark., Mrs. Grave Bowen of Alaska.
