Boswell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 13, 1986 Mrs. Thelma W. Boswell, 87, died Monday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a short illness. Services were at 10 a.m. today at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Boswell was a native of Franklin County, Miss., and a resident of Tallulah for the past 57 years, She was also a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star, the D.A.R. and the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pauline F. Lees of Monterey; three brothers. Frank Whitehead of Alexandria, C. T. Whitehead of Natchez, Miss., and Clyde Whitehead of Hamburg, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Freeman of Eddiceton, Miss., Mrs. Delores Bedford of Meadville, Miss., and Mrs. Frances Carman of Washington, Miss.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bill Carman, Charles Lee Whitehead. Jack Varner, Randy Horn, J.C. Byram, and James Reeves.
