J. Boswell Dies Saturday In Vicksburg Andrew Jackson Boswell, 78, died Saturday afternoon in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness. The funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, at the First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under directions of Crothers Funeral Home with Masonic rites at the grave. He was a member of the Madison Parish School Board for several years, former manager of the Coca-Cola Company in Tallulah, a member of the First Baptist Church and past master of the Masonic Lodge in Tallulah. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Thelma Boswell of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Mouck of Hopewell, Ga., and Mrs. Marguerite Sprague of Linwood, N. J. four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert E. Brown, Ross Graves, Roy Wroten, Manfred Gustafson, J.C. Byram and M. A. Wroten.
