All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** MILDRED ALMA BONNER - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Huntington (WV) Herald-Dispatch September 6, 2014 MILDRED ALMA BONNER, 83, of Flatwoods, Ky., passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mrs. Bonner was born on May 10, 1931 in Lamar County, TX; a daughter of the late Sam and Alma Prickett Bradshaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James H. Bonner; two brothers: William E. and Robert Wayne Bradshaw; and a sister, Ruby Lee Cooper. Mrs. Bonner has been a member of First Baptist Church of Flatwoods, Ky., since 1965, and loved volunteering in the church. She was a 1950 graduate of State High School in Tallulah, La. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and sewing. She is survived by a son, James R. (Donna) Bonner of Lakeland, Fla.; four daughters: Carole (Robert) Goldcamp of Hanging Rock, Ohio, Judy (Jerry) Williams of Wurtland, Ky., Linda (Dan) Holmes of Westerville, Ohio, and Ellen Bonner of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Jones of Southhaven, Mississippi; nine grandchildren: Barbara (Roy) Stimpert, Diane (Raymond) Stockton, Angela (Michael) Lewis, Chris (Jamie) Goldcamp, Matthew (Dora) Williams, Jennifer (Donnie) Gedeon, Allison (Garrison) Ball, Randi (Jason) Ward, Andrea (Ryan) Hale: sixteen great-grandchildren, and a grandson on the way. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky., with Pastor Jim Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky. The visitation will be from noon until funeral time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left to Flatwoods Baptist Church Food Pantry/ Family Assistance Fund -- 1206 Bluegrass Street, Flatwoods, KY 41139 or to Community Hospice Care Center 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
