All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Polly Blount - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 8, 1967 Funeral Services Held Friday For Mrs. Polly Blount Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Blount, 77, were held last Friday at 10 a. m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in the Natchez, Miss., Cemetery under the direction of Old Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Blount died Wednesday night of last week in the Delta Haven Nursing Home after a long illness. Mrs. Blount was a native of Monterrey and lived in Tallulah for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. L. E. Levee, Tallulah; Mrs. A. B. Reeves, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. B. R. Price, Jonesville; one brother, Frank Eskew, Los Angeles, California; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Sevier, Barton Sevier, Moss Christian, Andrew Sevier, Jr., Bill King, and E. H. Lancaster, Jr.
