Blanche - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 13, 1995 Marjorie H. Blanche died Thursday, Sept. 7, 1995, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jacskon, Miss. She was 73. Mrs. Blanche was a native of Crossett, Ark., and had lived in Tensas Parish for 11 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Suvivors include her husband Alex M. Blanche of St. Joseph; four sons, Alex M. Blanche III of Kimball, Neb., Sterling Blanche of Laramie, Wyo., Mark Blanche of Houston, Texas, and Brian Blanche of Vicksburg; one daughter, Mary Alice Furgason of San Antonio, Texas; one sister; Mary Ella Moss of Crossett; one brother, Troy Hightower of Rodgers, Ark.; and six grandchildren. Services were 1 p.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Ignatius Eckelkamp officating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was from 5 until 8 Sunday night and Rosary at 7 at the funeral home.
