All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Alon Blake - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Cox Funeral Home Delhi, June 2011 Funeral services for Alon Blake, 67, of Tallulah will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Lamar Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-9PM Monday at Lamar Baptist Church. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mr. Blake died Friday, June 24th at his residence. He retired as head mechanic from the Madison Parish School Board after 36 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Coy Connon Blake and Myrtle Lois Green Blake and his wife Jo Ann Blake. Alon is survived by three children, Mark Blake and Phebe McClellan both of Maiden, NC and Brad Blake of Tallulah; eight granddaughters, Madison Taylor, Victoria Nicole and Ashlyn Faith Blake, Daphene and Tymber McClelland and Addyson, Aubree and Aleah Ikard; five brothers, Sedric and Dewayne Blake of Delhi, LA, Danny Ray Blake of Natchez, MS, Bennon Blake of Forest, LA and Benson Blake of Bossier City, LA; and two sisters, Katherine Butler of Delhi and Debbie Williamson of Sand Springs, OK. Pallbearers will be Shane Blake, Phillip Blake, Duran Blake, Brandon Blake, Byron Blake and Chris Neathery.
