All rights reserved. ************************************************ Verna Mae Goss Bishop - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, December 17, 2005 TALLULAH - Verna Mae Goss Bishop died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at her home in Tallulah. She was 90. Mrs. Bishop was born in Lillie, La., and lived in Tallulah 70 years. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church and of Lake One Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by two sons, Malcom R. Bishop and Thomas W. Bishop both of Tallulah; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be Johnny Goss, David Creed, Charles Williams, Gene Cox, Bobby Arneson and Jim Tucker.
