Bedgood - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 2, 1996 Funeral services for Everett W. Bedgood were held Wednesday, September 25, in the chapel of the Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Bedgood died Friday, September 27, 1996 in the Madison Parish Hospital. He was 77. He was born in Goldonna, and had lived in Madison Parish for 65 years. He was a retired marine engineer for Petrolane Oil Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. He is survived by a stepson, Ronnie Kennedy of Tallulah; a daughter, Carol Smith of Tallulah; two sisters, Lessie Hodge of Tallulah and Iwilla Henry of Berwick; one brother, Bill Bedgood of Tallulah; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were his nephews.
