All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Bertha Mae Bedgood - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 19, 1997 Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Mae Bedgood, 76, were held Sunday, March 16, 1997 at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Bedgood died Friday, March 14 in the North Monroe Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Vicksburg, Miss., and had lived in Madison Parish for most of her life. She was a mother and homemaker and a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, John Acey Bedgood of Heflin; James Allen Bedgood of Jamestown; Thomas Earl Bedgood and Benny Ralph Bedgood of Tallulah; two daughters, Patricia Nell Henson of Peachtree City, Ga., and Eva Iwilla McCoy of Tallulah; one sister Myrtis Manning of Vicksburg; 17 grand-children and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Al Horath, Danny Bedgood, Ronnie Bedgood, Alex Monsour Jr., Donnie Frith and Ronnie Frith. Honorary pallbearers were Bert Batchelor, Prentiss Freeman, Johnny Rogers and Dr. Marshall Leary.
