TALLULAH - Ruby Lena Beard died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at North Monroe Medical Center. 
She was 73.

Born in Epps, Mrs. Beard had lived in Tallulah for over 50 years. She was a housewife 
and a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Lorrie Ann Beard of Tallulah; and two brothers, James 
McCarty of Delhi and Walter McCarty of Tallulah.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with 
the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
