All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Louise Lowery Beard - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 28, 1989 Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Lowery Beard, 76, were at 10 a.m. Monday at Meadow Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wells and Rev. Cloy Chapman officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Beard died Friday in Wisner after a brief illness. She was a native of Coldwater, Ms. and had been a resident of Tallulah for 32 years. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William N. Beard. Survivors include one son, Calvin Beard of Tallulah; two daughters, Betty Miller of Wisner and Sandra Flowers of Enid, Ms.; two brothers, Harry Murphree and Ronald Murphree, both of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Juanita Talbert of Memphis, Elizabeth Wink of Ft. Myers Beach, Fla., Bernice Taylor of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Shirley Shea of Delray Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Gene Butler, Chester Deggans, Elva H. Townsend Jr., Boyd Wyatt, Gerald Lott and Robert Cunningham.
